How it Started

Neo Hyphen was born in the midst of chaos during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a small room at Lexi’s parent’s house, armed with a dream, a bicycle, and an addiction to coffee, Lexi spent months bringing the brand to life. From registering the company to building the online store and developing products, she did it all.

When Neo Hyphen launched, Lexi introduced the All-Seeing Eye cycling jersey, a bold, eye-catching cycling kit that left an imprint on everyone who saw it. Later came the Le Croissant cycling jersey (yes, delicious) and the Phantom cycling jersey, marking the brand’s evolution into a unique player in the cycling apparel game within South Africa.

Today, Lexi is joined by her husband, Ricky Hill, and together they continue to build and grow Neo Hyphen into a lifestyle and cycling apparel brand that embodies bold creativity, diversity and connection.
